Red leaf amaranthus (Amaranthus tricolor) is a fast-growing leafy vegetable commonly grown for its tender red or purple leaves, which are rich in vitamins, iron, and antioxidants. It grows well in warm tropical climates with an optimal temperature of about 22–30 °C and needs plenty of sunlight and moderate moisture.
