About the Product

Bendhi (Abelmoschus esculentus) is a widely grown vegetable crop valued for its tender green pods that are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. It grows best in warm tropical climates with an optimal temperature of about 24–30 °C and requires plenty of sunlight and moderate rainfall. The crop prefers well-drained fertile loamy soil rich in organic matter. The warm and humid climate of Kerala, where temperatures usually range between 25–32 °C, is highly suitable for its cultivation throughout most of the year.
