About the Product
Cherry karonda (Carissa carandas) is a hardy, thorny shrub that produces small, cherry-like fruits used in pickles, jams, and traditional remedies. It grows well in tropical and subtropical climates with ambient temperatures between 20°C and 35°C and can tolerate heat up to 40°C. The plant prefers moderate rainfall (600–1,200 mm), full sunlight, and well-drained sandy or loamy soils, and it is drought-resistant once established. In regions like Kerala, it can thrive in warm conditions, especially in areas with good drainage during heavy monsoons.
