Heliconia Mini prefers full sunlight to partial shade and grows well in fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Regular watering is essential to maintain lush growth, especially during dry periods, but waterlogging should be avoided to prevent rhizome rot. In Kerala conditions, it can flower throughout the year, particularly during monsoon and post-monsoon seasons.
