About the Product

Kepel fruit comes from the tropical tree Stelechocarpus burahol, native to Indonesia and valued for its fragrant, sweet flesh. It grows best in warm, humid tropical climates with ambient temperatures of about 25–30 °C and cannot tolerate frost. The tree requires high humidity, well-distributed rainfall, and well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter. Regions like Kerala, with their warm temperatures, heavy monsoon rains, and humid conditions, are generally suitable for its cultivation if proper drainage is maintained.
