About the Product

Lipote (Syzygium polycephaloides) is a tropical fruit tree native to Southeast Asia, producing small, round fruits that turn deep purple to almost black when ripe, with a sweet-tart flavor. It grows well in warm, humid climates like Kerala, where temperatures range between 22°C and 35°C. The tree prefers high humidity, annual rainfall of 1500–3000 mm, and well-drained, fertile soil. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and does not tolerate frost or prolonged dry conditions, making Kerala’s tropical monsoon climate suitable for its cultivation.
