About the Product

Longan ‘White’ (Dimocarpus longan) is a tropical fruit variety known for its large, sweet, translucent white flesh and thin, light-colored skin. It grows well in warm tropical climates like Kerala, with ideal temperatures between 20°C and 35°C. The tree prefers moderate to high humidity, annual rainfall of 1200–2500 mm, and well-drained fertile soil. It requires full sunlight for optimal flowering and fruiting and is sensitive to frost and waterlogged conditions, making Kerala’s humid monsoon climate highly suitable for its cultivation.
