About the Product

Musambi (sweet lime) is a popular citrus fruit valued for its refreshing, mildly sweet juice and smooth greenish-yellow rind. It grows well in warm tropical regions like Kerala, thriving in temperatures between 25°C and 35°C and tolerating heat up to about 38°C with adequate irrigation. The tree prefers a humid to semi-humid climate with annual rainfall of 750–2000 mm, along with a dry period during flowering for better fruit set. Well-drained sandy loam soils, full sunlight, and moderate humidity are ideal for healthy growth and good yield.
