Neem cake is an organic manure obtained from the residue of crushed seeds of the Neem after oil extraction. It is rich in nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium and also helps control soil pests and nematodes. Neem cake improves soil fertility, enhances microbial activity, and promotes healthy plant growth. Warm tropical climates with temperatures around 20–35 °C are suitable for crops grown with neem cake. The humid tropical climate of Kerala, with temperatures about 24–32 °C and good rainfall, supports its effective use in agriculture and gardening.
